There are many benefits to participating in STEP-UP, all designed to make it easy and affordable to improve your home’s energy efficiency. Benefits include:

• Personal, step-by-step support from the STEP-UP Energy Coach;
• Guidance on selecting and working with home energy assessors and contractors;
• Access to attractive financing;
• Support from a Technical Consultant to answer specific technical questions, and provide
• quality assurance reviews to help ensure that improvement recommendations are
• appropriate and your home was fixed correctly;
• Direct financial rebates, tax credits and other incentives.

• You must be a UP resident;
• You must agree to have a qualified energy auditor complete an energy assessment on
• your home;
• You must be willing to share your utility bill data with STEP-UP. (This information will
• only be shared without personal identifying information, and is for purposes of tracking
• program impact.)
